Tappinintovictory ("Tappin")
16 hand Dark Bay or Brown Thoroughbred gelding
2007 By
Pleasant Tap out of Jeano (by Fappiano)
Here's one hard-knocking war horse with eye appeal and plenty of gas in the tank! After seven years at the track where he raced 79 times with 15 wins for $291,295
in earnings, he came to us with clean legs and a strong work ethic. "Tappin" has made the transition from track to trail, having logged numerous cross-country miles
gathering cattle in some of the biggest pastures the northern prairie has to offer. From rugged timber to rocky buttes, Tappin has mastered the range, showing us the bravery that makes this breed
famous.
Working cattle in pens, sorting off calves or splitting fighting bulls makes this gelding a reliable mount for ranch tasks, but his talents don't end there. With his big movement, durability and
stamina, Tappin shows the assets valued by riders looking for a show horse, eventer or field hunter. He works alone or in company, is good on the ground to work around and has good feet. Tappin
stands at the mounting block, stands tied, loads/hauls quietly, clips, catches up out of the field, and travels unfazed by hounds.
Located near the Black Hills of South Dakota at our Newell training facility. Gate to Great/Horse Creek Thoroughbreds welcomes your inquiries to Dale Simanton, phone (605) 569-2249. Tappin will train
through spring 2019 caving/branding season or until sold. Tappin is priced at $7,500 but that is subject to change as training advances. Check back to this page for video updates.
